A series of collage animations about the life and work of Luxembourgish sculptor Albert Hames.

Inspired by the layered atmosphere of Albert Hames's studio, the visual concept plays with the idea of finding order in the mess. Tools, sketches, papers and textures float through space, connecting the different scenes and creating a sense of movement through his world.

I developed the visual concept, collage language and animation, combining archival material with AI-generated video footage. Imperfect grids, earthy colours and tactile textures create a handmade visual language, while a stop-motion-inspired rhythm brings the different stories and ideas to life.
